Resolve AI ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at resolveai.chat and the Resolve AI platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account registration details (name, email address, company name)
- Payment information processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers
- Content you upload to train your AI assistant (documents, URLs, knowledge base files)
- Communications you send to us via email or contact forms
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, click patterns
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system
- Log data: server logs, error reports, performance metrics
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
Information from your end-users:
When visitors interact with your AI assistant powered by Resolve AI, we process conversation data on your behalf as a data processor. You remain the data controller for your end-users' data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Resolve AI platform
- Process transactions and send billing-related communications
- Personalize your experience and remember your preferences
- Send product updates, new features, and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
- Monitor usage patterns to detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Respond to support requests and provide customer service
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payments, analytics, email delivery) — bound by confidentiality obligations
- AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to power responses — only the minimum necessary context is sent; no personal identifiers unless included in your content
- Law enforcement or government bodies when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — we will notify you before your data is transferred
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Conversation logs are retained for up to 90 days by default. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@resolveai.chat.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in across sessions
- Remember your theme preference (light / dark)
- Measure traffic and usage with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Datafast)
- Improve the performance of the widget embedded on your site
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Service.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
Resolve AI is based in India. If you access the Service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms for cross-border transfers.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
