Refund Policy
Effective date: May 20, 2025
We want you to be happy with Resolve AI. If something isn't right, reach out to us at support@resolveai.chat and we'll do our best to make it right.
1. Free Plan
Resolve AI offers a free plan with no credit card required. No payment means no refund is applicable. You may cancel or delete your free account at any time with no obligation.
2. Paid Subscriptions — 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial payment. This applies to your first charge only (not renewals).
To request a refund under this guarantee:
- Email us at support@resolveai.chat from the email associated with your account
- Include "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Tell us briefly what went wrong — your feedback helps us improve
We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
3. Renewals
Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law. If you did not intend to renew and contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge, we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
4. Annual Plans — Prorated Cancellation
If you subscribed to an annual plan and cancel after the 7-day money-back window, we may offer a prorated credit for unused months at our discretion — particularly if there was a documented service issue on our end. Contact us to discuss.
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Refund requests submitted after 7 days of the initial purchase (outside the money-back window)
- Renewal charges where no cancellation was initiated before the renewal date
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service
- Charges for add-ons or one-time services (e.g., custom integrations, priority onboarding) unless there was a service failure
- Partial month usage — we do not issue prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not affect the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us separately.
7. Service Outages & Credits
If Resolve AI experiences significant unplanned downtime (more than 4 hours in any 30-day period) attributable to our infrastructure, we may issue service credits to affected paid accounts at our discretion. Credits are applied to your next invoice and are not exchangeable for cash.
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
