Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Resolve AI platform and website at resolveai.chat (the "Service"), operated by Resolve AI ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@resolveai.chat if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit, upload, or display content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Spread misinformation, generate spam, or conduct phishing campaigns
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, server, or network
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.

4. Subscription & Billing

Resolve AI offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle.

  • All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
  • Taxes may apply based on your location.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' notice.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by Resolve AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of it without our written permission.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the content you upload (documents, URLs, knowledge base files). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and display it solely to operate the Service for you. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

6. AI-Generated Responses

Resolve AI's responses are generated by AI and are based on the content you provide. While we strive for accuracy:

  • We do not guarantee that responses are error-free, complete, or up to date.
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI responses before acting on them.
  • You must not use the Service to provide professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without appropriate human oversight.

7. Availability & Uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates and will endeavour to provide advance notice where practicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resolve AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resolve AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data after a 30-day grace period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
